The main objective of this interesting event was to analyze the available opportunities still left on the H2020 program in the field of the Nanotechnologies, Materials and Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing Processes, and the related initiatives such as: Factories of the Future (FoF), Efficient Energy Buildings (EeB) and Sustainable Industrial Processes (SPIRE).

The event was geared to researchers, project managers, companies, entities and everybody interested in the Horizon 2020 program.

Among the participants of the event, Nieves González López, the Spanish National Contact Person for the NMBP-H2020 of The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), and noted organizations that shared their experiences and recommendations in order to have a successful participation in the projects.

The day started with an introduction addressed by AIDIMME’s Director, Mariano Pérez and IVACE’s (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness) Director, Julia Company. It followed with a presentation titled “The technological institutes and their support to companies in H2020”. This talk was given by AIDIMME’s R&D coordinator Manuel Belanche.

Next it was a presentation of the call 2019 NMBP: News and Recommendations. This was conducted by Nieves González López, followed by “Experiences and Best Practices” moderated by Manuel Belanche. The three presenters were César Taboas, Innovation Technology Corporate Director of Royo Spain, S.L., Esteban Camacho, Innovation Manager of RDC and Guillermo Sánchez, Technology Director of the Nanophotonics Technology Center of the Valencian Polytechnic University (UPV). Mr. Taboas spoke about HuMan and Royo’s valuable experience within the project among other topics of interest.

A questions and answers session followed, closing the event.
