Hábitat Fair is the international showcase for the Spanish furniture and lighting industry which happens every year in Valencia, Spain. In this occasion a demo of the KIT service (operator assistance using Augmented Reality while performing tasks) took place at the AIDIMME stand in the fair.

María José Núñez and Javier Martín from AIDIMME, César Martín and César Taboas from Royo, Joao Costa and Edgar Santos from HighSkillz, and Manuel Oliveira from Sintef were present at the stand to offer support and to make sure everything ran perfectly and smoothly.

The demo consisted on an in-situ assembly of one of Royo’s piece of furniture. Different fair attendees stopped by to experiment this interesting demo which was guided by a pair of Microsoft HoloLens Augmented Reality glasses. Step by step instructions were provided through the glasses in order to produce a successful assembly of the showcased bathroom furniture.

The fair is attended by a wide myriad of professionals including architects, interior designers, decorators, distributors, purchase groups, installers, specifiers and commercial agents who were able to see and experiment the demo.
